Getting Here

Topsail Island is centrally located between the coastal cities of Jacksonville and Wilmington, NC, about 5 miles east of U.S. 17. This is the main highway along the southeastern coast of North Carolina. Topsail is about a 50 minute ride on US 17 from both the Wilmington and Jacksonville (NC) airports.

From the South (Wilmington), take US 17 North for approximately 25 miles to the town of Hampstead. About 6 miles past Hampstead, turn right on Hwy. 210 E (at the Lowe’s) and go about 3.5 miles to Hwy. 50. Turn right on Hwy. 50 and follow it to the old swing bridge over to the island. The first traffic light after the swing bridge is New River Rd. Turn left on New River road and travel a short distance through the town of Surf City. Just before Tiffany’s motel, turn right on Pender and then another right onto North Topsail Drive. The house is the yellow one on the corner of Pender and North Topsail. (Look for the blue Conch Republic flag.)

From the North (Jacksonville) take Hwy 17 S to Hwy 210. Go east on 210 and cross the high rise bridge over the Intracoastal onto the North end of the island. Bear to the right and proceed south on New River Road several miles to the Pender County line. Continue just a short distance and turn left just after Tiffany’s Motel onto Pender then right onto North Topsail Drive. The address of the house is 1425 N. Topsail Drive, Surf City, NC 28445.
